Here's a summary of our current login issues with Mastodon:

  • ta180m, ebooks: Can log in, but only when entering our email address when logging in instead of our username

  • smolshep: Can log in normally

  • all other LDAP users: White screen, the Mastodon logs say that the provided email address is blank for some reason

I finally fixed it. It was so dumb. I didn't add quotes to the LDAP password which contained special characters.
