We currently have way too many virtualization softwares installed:

  • QEMU/KVM
  • Podman
  • systemd-nspawn
  • Apptainer
  • LXD
  • Toolbox
  • Nix (technically not virtualization but similar)
  • Flatpak (technically not virtualization but similar)

We also used to have Docker but we switched to Podman. How about uninstalling Apptainer, LXD, and Toolbox? Does anyone currently use them?

I uninstalled Toolbox. We'll keep Flatpak for now but I'm thinking of uninstalling it too (although IDK if Nix has good desktop integration).
