I posted this in the #announcements Matrix channel a while back:

Since I'm working on several other big projects right now, I'm going to no longer be spending much time maintaining and developing exozyme. That doesn't mean exozyme will be shutting down in the near future, but instead:

We'll probably have to discontinue some of the difficult-to-maintain or rarely used services. The two biggest candidates for this are exovpn and exomedia.
We need more maintainers! If you would like to become a maintainer (you get ownership of the Gitea org, admin on Matrix, and more), just DM or email me. Also, thanks

codedotjs for taking the lead for the NixOS transition, since I just don't have much time to learn Nix and help with that, sadly.

I'm still going to be reporting and fixing small bugs, updating and backing up the server, and doing other basic maintainence things, but I don't have the time for fixing broken services and adding new ones. But... exozyme is a community effort, not a one-person show, so please step in and help if you can!

Like any other open-source project, we're in desperate need of more maintainers! We've had to sadly shut down the API because of a lack of maintainence for it #162, and exovpn looks like it might be next #150...

Right now, we primarily need more help with exozyme development, the ongoing NixOS switch, and bug fixing. If you're interested, I can add you as a maintainer of our exogit organization. We appreciate all the help we can get! A good first issue to start with is #161. If you need help at any time with contributing to exozyme, just ask on Matrix.

To increase our bus factor, I added @codedotjs, @notaiden, and @abheekd as maintainers. Welcome to the maintainence team!
