Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
We have the Code - OSS open source build of the Visual Studio Code editor installed. Unfortunately, this build uses Open VSX for extensions unlike the official VSCode builds, so there are much fewer extensions on Open VSX. Even worse, there is currently a bug in connecting to Open VSX so we also need to wait for that to be fixed. There is currently a workaround for that issue on GitHub. Looks like there are also some packages to unblock features only in the official VSCode builds: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/code-marketplace/ https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/code-features/
The main issue is that Arch's Code - OSS package hasn't been updated since July 13. Hopefully they'll push out the latest version soon.
Issues with Code - OSS extensionsto Issues with Code - OSSI compiled Code - OSS myself for the latest version and it crashes unless you pass it the
--disable-crash-reporter
flag on the command line. Going to roll back to the version in the repos for now.Extensions seem to be working now? We still need to wait for Arch to update their Code package.
I compiled the latest Code - OSS version 1.60 and it doesn't seem to have any issues. Closing this for now.
