2021-03-26: @a finished building a server for exozyme and installed Arch on it.

2021-03-27: @a registered the exozy.me domain.

2021-11-29: @a, @spicecat, @abheekd and others used the exozyme server for teaching an Intro to Python class. This is why we formerly had a JupyterHub instance and most of the early server accounts were for this class.

2022-06-13: exozyme's Gitea (now Forgejo) instance was the first-ever forge to successfully federate with Mastodon, for the specific feature of user following!

2023-07-01: The Great Storm Outage of 2023, caused by a thunderstorm with 100km/h winds and lasted 93 hours and 14 minutes!

2024-01-19: We voted for a new logo! Or feel free to use the old logo if you want something with a more retro feel.

2024-10-15: Sidney the cat is now the exozyme mascot!

2024-11-08: CATASTROPHIC SSD FAILURE 😭 Welp, we lost some data and had a 487-hour long outage, but the server is back, now with RAID1.
