We currently disabled the IPv6 firewall on the router, which is kinda... bad for security. I don't want to hardcode in the IP address of the server for firewall filtering, since I don't like hardcoding, but that's probably the best solution.

Also, we can use IPv4 passthrough instead of port forwarding to simplify things on the IPv4 side.
