Unfortunately, a lot of apps and games seem to suffer from major performance issues when run with X forwarding over SSH. For instance:

Portal has screen tearing issues and low framerate.
Games run using the Cemu emulator have a lower framerate than running them locally.

This is actually two different issues: Some apps have issues in exodesk, some have issues with X forwarding over SSH, and some have both. I guess I'll devote this issue to X forwarding and make a separate one #49 for exodesk performance issues.
